Zheni is a research assistant working on the ESRC project. Her main research interest are combination of social cognition and language development. More specifically, whether those processes are underpinned by domain general or domain specific processes. The main focus of her PhD work was on the potential relationship between the lexical and sub-lexical skills and the cognitive control functions in people with development dyslexia. With her invaluable contribution, we are conducting the research involving patients with amnesia and healthy students combining clinical tests and neuroscientific techniques such as EEG (Electroencephalopgraphy) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
